KNEP APP
A mobile app that will make engaging in events more fun!
Knep App is an event app thats purpose is to make socializing in events easy, gamify the experience and overall boost engagement in events. The user can complete tasks that helps them get to most out of the event, plan their own schedule and have an easy access to the event's information.
The app was made during our internship at Xamk Game Studios!
The app uses Firebase database to save their data. Users have to register and log in to use the app so they can see who else is using the app.
The app is very versatile and shows all kind of information. It shows overall event information, schedule, tasks, users personal calendar, profile, forum, showroom for projects and settings. It has two different layots: Pc version for Admins that want to add data to the project and mobile user version for the event attendees.
MY PART IN THE PROJECT
At the start of the internship, me and Elli didn't really choose any roles. More like we chose wich parts we would wanna work with in the project.
Most of my time working on the app I focused on the Firebase databse side. I made the user log in possible, saving data to database and pulling data from there. We used Firebase for almost all of the sections on the app. I also worked a lot on building the layouts based on Ellis designs. To make sure the features work, I also had to do some programming.
ADMIN VIEW
You can see the admin view layout if you look at the scroll wheel. It uses blue and purple colors and it has sticker like buttons. It kinda has the same features as the user version, but they are meant for saving data.
USER VIEW
User side pictures are displayed on the side view. That view uses orange and red colors, so it has more warmer color scheme than the Admin view.
