REVENGE OF SEÑOR CACTUS

Some cacti can produce flowers... but Señor Cactus can't! So now he is trying to steal yours!

You and your friend are stuck on a small island with nothing but a yellow toy boat. To survive, you must upgrade your shelter by collecting small flowers with your boat and return them to your island. But watch out for Señor Cactus because he also has a boat (and a cannon).

The point of the game is to move around using WASD and collect flowers from water. When you return the flowers to your island, you get to upgrade your home. BUT! If Señor Cactus manages to shoot at you, you will lose flowers. You must upgrade your house twice to pass the game.

This game was made at Xamk Game Jam Spring 2024 where the theme was Volunteer cruise and/or Building.

MY PART IN THE PROJECT

I had a few different parts in the project. One of my many jobs was to make the main menu of the game. Grapichs are made using Photoshop.

My other jobs while making the project was making 3D models and 2D assets. 3D Models are made using Blender and assets in Photoshop. I also handeled the flower UI code.

Models made by me are displayed at the side of the site.
