STEREOTYPICAL HIGH SCHOOL LOVE STORY

"You are a new student in a new school where you meet a lot of new students. All of them seem interesting in their own way. And they could say the same thing about you! Get to know the other students, flirt, and finally decide who you think is the most interesting one!"

Stereotypical high school love story is a visual novel game made during my time training at Lizard Hazard Games. The game was made as a side project while making a small contribution to their main game.

The project was originally intended to be bigger, but due to limited time, the project was left unfinished. The story was originally supposed to last seven days, but now it only lasts one. However, the player gets to know each character found in the game.

MY PART IN THE PROJECT

My contribution to the project was really diverse. Originally, I was only supposed to draw the characters as well as backgrounds. In the end, I also ended up writing most parts of the story, as well as handling the programming part. The game was made with Renpy and the code with Python, which was a completely unknown programming language to me at the time.
