Monster Club

Description

A small 3D game based on storytelling, graphics and music worked on by 4 people. A game about a human entering a monster bar and trying to solve the mysteries within it while trying not to get exposed.

  • Process:

    We started the project by planning what type of a game we wanted to make and ended up with a first-person 3D game heavily inspired by a show called "Monster High" and one of the "Mario Kart" game levels. Quickly after the starter roles were decided.

    As the programmer of the group, I started by creating a quick plane to get the first-person movement to work. With the help of Titta, we also created the blueprints of the first level that I was then later on able to turn into our first prototype of the first club level (after modelling all the necessary building blocks).

    A video of a model I made during our 3D modelling course back in fall 2023 that we'll most likely use in the game either as part of the testing process or as an npc in the actual game after some changes.
