Mikko Anttila
My name is Mikko Anttila.
I was born in 2003, and ever since the age of 15 I've been interested in game development.
Ever since I've been studying game development, both in my free time and at vocational school and university.
I completed my vocational studies at Business College Helsinki on 2021, focusing on game development.
Afterward I completed civil service and then moved to Kotka.
At Kotka I've been studying at XAMK, focusing on game programming.
My personality is fairly reserved and calm.

I currently study Game Programming at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.
I started studies back in autumn of 2023, while the campus was still located in Metsola.
The studies started off well thanks to all my previous experience, and so far studying here has been the most rewarding of any of my previous studies.
Business College Helsinki was fairly surface level on what they covered, so thanks to all my previous experience from personal studies, I had an easy time.
On the contrary here I actually feel challanged and I feel like I'm actually learning new things.
This website is an example of the many new things I've learned, as it was produced during one of the courses and before this I barely had any experience with creating websites.
Work Experience
Over the course of my life I've worked a few different jobs.
Most notable certainly being my internship at Big Ear Games,
where I worked as an artist, animator and programmer for
their music game also called "Big Ear."
